The sidewalk is overgrown with trees in certain places along this section of sidewalk along Belcher Road.
My previous comment was never answered. After the last hurricane, a section of fencing on Belcher Road, that goes over Curlew Creek (near the subject section of sidewalk), was blown down. The Spanish Trails Association appears to have put in a nice new fence to keep people from falling into the creek. Perhaps this was installed by the County. My concern is that I had requested guard rails to be installed in this location since a car that leaves the road in this area will then go through this fence and then down a steep bank into the creek. The fence is adequate to protect against people from falling in but not adequate to keep cars from going down the steep bank and into the creek. I would like to get an opinion from Pinellas County Public Works as to their opinion on the need to install guard rail in this location. Robert H.
