Description
New sewer drains and gutters have been installed along 19th street between tampa and cr39. The gutters and the drains are now raised up above the surface of the road and the water does not drain properly. There is now constantly standing water all over 19th street with some puddles deep enough to cause a car to hydroplane. This is occurring in multiple areas along 19th street at almost every drain that has been replaced.

The tube "dams" need to be removed to let the water drain.
Also the two drains N of Swan Lane had water previously gathering because the drains were no long at the low point due to the road settling over the years. When the sidewalks were being repaired, part of the project was to re-do the curbs as well. These were 'raised' in the areas of question because the next part of the project is to resurface the road. At that time, the road will be made level and all will be fine. The issue is when is this supposed to happen. I was told they may no longer resurface and just re-surface or add asphalt to that area in question N of Swan Lane by the School crossing light. Hope this helps
