Description

When going west on Garfield turning onto High, there is usually a white RAM van with no windows parked on the southwest corner of the intersection (on High Street) that makes it literally impossible to see whether there are cars northbound on High before you pull out into the intersection. You have to just hope there are no cars coming. I am shocked that I haven't had an accident here yet - it's pure luck that I haven't. The van is less than 6' tall so one of those signs preventing vehicles over 6' from parking there is not going to work. There needs to be daylighting here, particularly because it is close to Lincoln Park and drivers are so focussed on looking south that they can miss pedestrians on the sidewalk from the north entering the intersection.
